ABOUT US

Taking care of vineyards
is like raising a child

It is an exhausting job, but one that, in the end, pays off all the efforts, making you feel the power of life and of the vine!
Our wine is intended for consumers who want to take the time to taste it and for those who are curious to discover new forms of emotions.

Giulia Serafini

I deal with the communication and marketing tasks of this new exciting winery with great dedication.
I have a Degree in Economics and I have lived abroad for a period of my life.
I have nurtured a great passion for wine since the beginning, fueled by the curiosity to discover everything that moves the gears of the wine sector. Our production is based exclusively on the awareness of two fundamental values: sustainability and biodiversity.
I consider myself lucky to be part of the Tenuta Barbarossa team, as it gives me the opportunity to spend part of my days surrounded by nature and the vineyards, always in the company of my four-legged assistant, Lapo!

Daniele Tontini

I have always tried to follow my heart and realised that I had found the right path at the Department of Viticulture and Oenology of the University of Bologna. I pamper the vineyards season after season, constantly monitoring them in order to intervene promptly with the most appropriate course of action. All of this requires knowledge of other related sectors, such as Entomology, and of other plant life forms inhabiting the vineyards.
It is important to understand how the entire ecosystem works and interacts. Actively participating in grape processing for the first time engenders a great feeling of joy and gratitude.

Vittorio Festa

Daily work leads to a passion for things, and my passion is inspired by the world of wine, which, in so many ways, is quite fascinating and irresistible. My dad was a winemaker, and I am the bearer of a family story that I am eager to hand down and pass on.
I decided to embrace this project because there is great potential from the point of view of enhancing our local land. Being a still little-known wine-growing area, it can carve out for itself an important share of the market, thus giving due consideration to this enchanting territory. All wines are produced in the winery and none are processed by third parties, and this is a great source of pride. It is a coherent path that symbolises a value of pure identity.
